A windscreen replacement on a ML

These vehicles are not the best windscreen replacements to do because of a big thick Black plastic windscreen trim which is part of the windscreen. Never use boiling water
Don`t be tempted to put kettle water on your windscreen, if you have any stone chip on the windscreen there is a good chance the screen could crack from the hot water then you will need a full windscreen replacement.

This type of windscreen fitment is called indirect glazed fitment we fit the windscreen by pulling a cord which is fed around the rubber then the pulling of the cord lips the rubber over the aperture. A-Wire windscreen removal tool
Things are getting kind of tight around the windscreens nowadays, that’s why I use the tool for removing some windscreens. It’s called the A wire we feed razor wire all the way around the windscreen and feed it into the car, then with the A wire we just turn the handle and it pulls the wire through the windscreen glue very easily thus causing no damage to the aperture, A brilliant windscreen replacement tool. This is a windscreen replacement on a nice old Porsche. Its windscreen replacement method is called indirectly glazed just like the old VW above but not as tight. Some of these Porsche has an aerial in the windscreen which feeds through the windscreen rubber and into the dash, we remove the clock on the dash and that is where the aerial plugs in.
